Kuzikus Rhino Wildlife Reserve & Lodge
Kuzikus is a traditionally game-rich part of the Kalahari that was developed into a wildlife reserve with lodge and today enjoys the status of a private game sanctuary which is accredited by the Namibian State.
For over 45 years, and now in its second generation, the Reinhard family has been dedicated to preserving this unique wilderness and its natural biodiversity. As part of this family, we have always been passionately involved in tourism at Kuzikus, where personalized tourism, education, and science are directly linked to nature and wildlife conservation projects.
To guarantee you exclusive service and a relaxed atmosphere, only seven guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and full board are offered, as well as a Kalahari bush camp with three rustic, beautiful tented cabins, located approximately 1.5 km from the lodge.
Guests experience the Kalahari ecosystem on a very individual basis and have plenty of opportunities for activities, to relax and to gain first hands insights into research and conservation projects in tailor-made programs guided by members of the host family.
Visiting Kuzikus also supports the family in running the governmental Black Rhino Conservation project on the reserve.
